March 2010 shipment en route

Your kind donations are on the way to Freetown

The latest container of supplies kindly donated by a number of our generous supporters is now on its way to The David School.  Special thanks must be made to the following:

-     Staff, children, and the families of Ramsey Spinning Infant School for plentiful supply of soap

-     Alistair & Evis Ritchie from Aberdeen for the children’s shoes

-     Mark and all at Robert Claire, who are shipping the supplies for us (pictured below)

-     Ramsey Vehicle Sales Ltd courtesy of Dean Wallace and Roger Nicholls for their provision of a vehicle for use during transportation

The shipment will reach its destination of the capital of Freetown to coincide with the arrival of twelve of us who will be there between the 14th March and 4th April.  There is plenty for us to do out there but the main focus for this visit will be to build a two-classroom extension along with further development work at the school and clinic.

We will of course keep you updated with further news of our latest visit to The David School.
